We have been carless since Sunday night it has been miserable. As you can see my car is missing a shoe.

I would be going nuts if I was missing a shoe. I can only imagine how you feel with your CAR missing a shoe! You poor thing.
Hopefully some action will be made on it soon.
There is some advantage of being married to someone who knows nothing about cars, its taken to a garage and fixed immediately! At a price, of course.
My dad was a mechanic, and all three of my brothers are too... so I know how long things can take to get fixed, but the time you get the parts etc.
