Splash and Dash

Ash and I did a splash and dash in Santa Cruz as a prep for the Santa Cruz Sprint that I'm doing in August. It was really exciting to swim in the ocean. That totally different way to swim. It is very challenging. The salt water is very salty,hence the name salt water.Well it was great.

We also went to Hayward to go visit my brother. I ran in a 5k run benfiting the Eden Trama center in San Leandro. I did okay. Mikensie ran in the 50 yard kids dash. She had a great time and enjoyed running,getting a shirt and a goody bag filled with suprises. It was really fun

We went to Ada's house on Saturday for a family reunion/birthday party for grandma Marcia

We had so much fun playing at the pool and having scrumptious food. It was so nice to see Amie's new baby Molly who is about one month old. We were able to meet Marcia's nephew and his girls, who were visiting from Washington.
